Grizzly Ranch Golf Club is a Semi-Private 18-hole golf course located in Portola, California, 45 minutes North of Reno, NV and Truckee, California.
Grizzly Ranch Golf Club opened for play in 2005. The course was designed by Robert E. Cupp.
Grizzly Ranch is nestled deep within the boundless beauty where the Sierra Nevada and Cascade ranges meet. Grizzly Ranch is a golf and recreational community in the Western Sierra Feather River Country, Grizzly Ranch is surrounded by more than a million acres of pristine national and state forestlands. Grizzly Ranch was originally opened as a private club with real estate but now offers public, promotional play.

I have played this course several times now, twice this year. It is maturing very nicely. Some of the carries are a little long for the ladies but the course ranks right up there with Whitehawk Ranch for the best 2 courses in the North Tahoe/Graeagle area.
